While Reiki is inherently simple to learn, the transition from student to professional therapist is guided by National Occupational Standards. These principles ensure that practitioners maintain high levels of safety, ethics, and competence within the industry.

I am an experienced Reiki Teacher and CNHC-registered therapist, with my practice verified by The Reiki Council. This ensures that the guidance you receive meets the professional benchmarks required for recognised practice in the UK.

Based in Dudley, West Midlands, I teach Reiki at all levels.

 

Reiki isn’t an outside force we tap into; it is the very essence of who we are, a manifestation of spiritual energy originating from within our own bodies.

Learning Reiki is so much more than a simple hands-on technique. The system of Reiki is a profound way of life and a spiritual journey and its depth cannot be captured in a brief course or through a book.

By acknowledging that we are all part of an interconnected web of energy, Reiki invites us on a journey of self-discovery. It encourages us to look inward, ultimately revealing that we are inseparable from the greater whole of the universe.

Level 1 Shoden
Reiki first degree : The first step

This level serves as your introduction to the Reiki system. Think of it as learning to drive: a fresh, exciting experience in self-development that is best approached at a slow and steady pace to build a solid foundation.

During this stage, you will explore the deeply relaxing nature of this complementary therapy. You'll discover how its meditative qualities can enhance your overall wellbeing and foster a more grounded sense of self. Upon completing Level I, you will have the confidence and skill to share Reiki with yourself, as well as your close friends and family including animals.​​

Foundations

This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to Reiki, blending traditional wisdom with practical application. Here is what we will explore together:

  • The Heritage of Reiki: An exploration of its history, defining what Reiki is and the mechanics of how this energy flows.

  • The Reiki Principles: Understanding the spiritual precepts that form the ethical and philosophical heart of the practice.

  • The Energetic Field: An introduction to the human energy system and how to perceive the subtle layers around us.

  • Protection & Presence: Learning vital techniques for energetic grounding, protection and meditative focus.

  • The Art of Touch: Learning the traditional hand positions.

  • Universal Application: How to share Reiki with all living things, including plants and animals.

  • The Healing Process: Understanding "healing reactions" - what to expect for both yourself and your receivers as energy shifts.

  • Practical Integration: Dedicated time to practice your skills and build intuitive confidence in a supportive space.

  • Resources for Growth: Tools to support your ongoing learning.

  • The Path Forward: Guidance on the different levels of Reiki and how to continue your journey toward becoming a practitioner.​

Level 2 : Okuden

Reiki second degree : The Inner Teachings

This stage of your journey focuses on the "inner teachings," moving beyond the physical practice and into the deeper spiritual architecture of the system.

Through a dedicated connection to the sacred symbols, you will gain a more profound insight into Usui Mikao’s original philosophy. You will also master the concept of remote Reiki, learning how to facilitate this gentle, balancing therapy across any distance. For those who feel called to serve others, this level provides the essential foundation and certification required to begin your path as a professional Reiki practitioner.

This level is designed to deepen your practice and refine your skills. Below is an overview of what we will cover together:

  • Reflective Integration: We begin by sharing your Reiki experiences to date, addressing any questions or insights that have emerged since your Level I initiation.

  • The Sacred Symbols: An in-depth look at the origins of the Reiki symbols, including the precise techniques for their activation and focus.

    • The Power Symbol: Strengthening and grounding your energetic flow.

    • The Mental/Emotional Symbol: Facilitating harmony and emotional release.

    • The Distance Symbol: Bridging the gap of time and space to offer healing anywhere.

  • Byosen Reiki: the art of scanning the body to find where Reiki is most needed.

  • Practical Mastery: Dedicated time for hands-on practice to build your confidence and intuition.

  • Professional Guidance: Essential information regarding Professional Reiki Associations and setting up as a business to help you navigate the industry.

  • Professional Development: A discussion on the next steps of your spiritual journey and how to continue your development.

 

The workshops take place on a weekend and you will receive a comprehensive companion manual for guidance.

 

I recommend allowing a minimum of six months to pass between learning Reiki Level I and Level 2.

Leaving time in between is less about "studying" and more about energetic integration as you allow the teachings to move from your head to your heart. Cultivating a consistent daily practice during these months ensures you have a stable foundation before stepping into the deeper complexities of Level II.​​​

Reiki Refresher : £75

Before stepping back into your Reiki journey, this session is designed specifically for you.

This 3-hour tailored workshop is a supportive space to brush up on your skills and intuition. Whether you need a reminder on hand positions, a review of the symbols, or help with scanning (Byosen), we will focus entirely on your specific needs.

This refresher course includes a basic refresher companion manual but does not include a certificate or any attunements.
