I'm Cheryl and if you have found me then you are in the right place.

I felt guided to learn Reiki even though I had never personally experienced a treatment and it has taken me on a path of spiritual development inclusive of exploring other healing modalities.

 

I hold a Reiki Master Teacher qualification in the Usui System of Natural Healing and I am constantly researching and professionally developing as I am interested on how we function on a spiritual level.  What exists beyond the physical eye fascinates me and I have developed a keen interest in our energy field and vibrational frequency as it constantly changes.

​When teaching reiki to students, I explain that what we believe today may change tomorrow through our experiences.

People who suffer with stress, anxiety, grief and loss are naturally drawn to me for reiki, more so since the Covid pandemic affected all of our lives. We can hold stress within our bodies and trauma from this life and  past lives which can cause imbalance in our well-being. I work with clients on a spiritual level to support with emotional comfort during times of feeling completely lost and without any direction or purpose in life.

Why choose me?

I do not understand why reiki is generally taught as a 'strict appointment' treatment. My clients put their trust in me as they can present themselves at a very vulnerable time in their lives or may be feeling in a dark place, feeling worthless or experiencing a traumatic event.  The service I offer is 'holding space' which cannot be fit into a box and confined to a definitive time scale. You are receiving a therapeutic service from a professional practitioner who understands how we evolve spiritually and how life events can have such an impact our well-being. My reiki treatment lasts for one hour however, I allocate up to two hours for the time that you are with me. This is so that the informal chat and consultation time are not deducted from the treatment time. I feel privileged to work with the sacred energy of another person in a kind, safe and non judgemental way.

​I have studied and developed extensively through my own practice and supporting clients with the challenges they face. I don't use spiritual jargon but prefer to talk on a more grounded level. 

​

Aside from reiki, I am a certified Soul Midwife which is a non medical holistic companion who provides emotional, spiritual and holistic support at end of life by creating a calm space to ensure that the person feels valued, heard and loved. 

I am also a Spirit Release Therapist which is sometimes known as Soul Rescue. As we go thorough life, we can carry spiritual attachments and/or inadvertently invite them into our homes.  I am studying with Dr David Furlong on how we can help to release parts of ourselves which we suppress through trauma or have carried forward from a past life experience.

​I have met the Reiki Council standards as a verified Professional Reiki Practitioner and can be found on the CNHC Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council register. (registration number CNHC00760)

I am a registered member of the Reiki Healing Association​​ and a certified practitioner for the Reiki Medic-Care Team serving NHS frontline staff. Reiki Medic-Care is endorsed by the Reiki Council, who is the governing body for Reiki in the UK​​

I can also be found supporting at the Steps To Living Well sessions which is a cancer health and well-being drop in session for patients and carers in the community. This is run by the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust who work in partnership with MacMillan Cancer Support for anyone who has just been diagnosed with cancer and might be interested in learning what support is available for themselves and their family. ​
